Terms and Conditions — Initial Consultation Agreement

This Initial Consultation Agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions between Gatepass Immigration Inc., represented by Mohd Serieh, RCIC #R527143 ("we," "us," or "our"), and the prospective client ("you" or "your") who books a consultation through our website, by phone, or by any other means.

By booking and/or attending an initial consultation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.

1. Regulatory Status

Mohd Serieh is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (the "College" or "CICC") under licence number R527143. As a licensed member, Mohd Serieh is bound by the College's By-laws, Code of Professional Conduct, and Regulations, all of which are publicly available at college-ic.ca.

3. Scope of the Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is a one-time, fixed-duration meeting (in-person, by telephone, or by video conference) during which we will:

• Review the information and documents you provide;
• Provide a preliminary assessment of your immigration matter;
• Outline the available legal options and likely next steps;
• Quote a fee for any further professional services, if applicable.

The initial consultation does not create an ongoing solicitor-client or consultant-client relationship beyond the consultation itself. Any further representation requires a separate, signed retainer agreement.

4. Fees and Payment

The fee for the initial consultation, and for any subsequent services, is communicated in advance through our website or by direct quote. All fees are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

If you choose to retain our services within seven (7) days of the initial consultation, the consultation fee will be credited toward the agreed-upon retainer for that matter.

Payment for the consultation must be made at the time of booking. We accept payments through our authorized payment processor (Stripe).

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule a consultation, please use the link provided in your booking confirmation email at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance: full refund of the consultation fee.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, or no-shows: the consultation fee is non-refundable.

One complimentary reschedule is permitted if requested at least 24 hours before the original appointment.

6. Confidentiality

All information you share with us during or in connection with the initial consultation is treated as confidential and is protected under the College's Code of Professional Conduct and applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We collect, use, and store your personal information solely for the purposes of assessing your immigration matter, providing legal advice, and complying with our regulatory and legal obligations. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or with your express consent.

7. Language of Service

Consultations and all related services are available in English and Arabic. You will be advised in advance which consultant or staff member will be conducting your consultation and in what language.

8. Disclaimer

The advice and information provided during the initial consultation are based on the facts and documents you disclose, on Canadian immigration law as it stands at the time of the consultation, and on the policies of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and related authorities at that time. Immigration laws, regulations, and policies change frequently; advice given at the consultation may no longer be accurate at a later date.

We make no guarantee as to the outcome of any application, claim, appeal, or proceeding. Final decisions rest exclusively with IRCC, the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB), Canadian visa offices, or any other adjudicative body with jurisdiction over your matter.

9. Complaints

If you have concerns about the conduct of any licensed consultant at Gatepass Immigration Inc., you may file a complaint directly with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) through its public complaints portal at college-ic.ca. The College is the regulatory body responsible for handling such complaints.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

11. Acknowledgment

By proceeding with a consultation booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement in full.
